PRS celebrated Halloween with an awesome roller rink full of costumed skaters! There was candy bags, spooky decor, and a costume contest for the kids skate, and adult skate!
Thursday October 27th, 2022
PRS celebrated Halloween with a free outdoor roller rink on Thursday October 27th! This could not have happened without the amazing space provided by Activate Penticton!
Saturday September 10th, 2022
Penticton Roller Skate enjoyed a new skate spot on this date! The Penticton Curling Club was amazing, allowed for great spectating, and had a concession in support of the new South Okanagan Roller Derby Juniors program!

Beat the heat with a couple hours of roller rink fun before continuing your Saturday evening plans!
PeachFest 2022 - August 6th
Penticton Roller Skate in partnership with the South Okanagan Roller Derby Association was excited to be a part of the 2022 events list!
SORDA hosted a roller derby demonstration, before opening the rink for a 30 minute Learn to Skate lesson. After that, the floor opened and we had a 1 hour open skate!
PRS was on-site our rental skates, which were available for FREE USE.
July 23rd, 2022 - Oliver
Oliver Parks & Recreation in partnership with Penticton Roller Skate are excited to bring the roller rink to Oliver!
This evening was our last night in Oliver for the 2022 season! Thank you to all those that came out to skate, to the amazing Oliver Ambassadors program for running the concession, and to Oliver Recreation for inviting PRS to their venue!
July 16th, 2022 - GLOW PARTY
PRS is back in Penticton at the Trade and Convention Centre!
Family Skate: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
19+ Skate 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Admission 13 and younger: $10.00 each
Admission 14 and older $15.00 each
Rentals $5.00 each (includes helmets and pads if requested)
Admission and Rentals are first come first serve.

Penticton Rolling Pride Parade
PRS is proud to be teaming up with a local SD67 Teacher to host the first Youth focused Pride Parade in Penticton!
June 26th at 3pm Starting at LocoLanding Adventure Park, and ending at the new outdoor rink beside Gyro Park.

Revelstoke Friday June 10th
PRS hit the road and headed up to Revelstoke for their Roller Disco Party!
The event will feature a 19+ Beverage Garden, DJ, Dance Floor, Retro Music, and Light Effects!
The following day was their season opening Bout! 450 people came to their roller disco! Way to go Revelstoke Roller Derby!

May 14th 2022 was a big night in Penticton! A concert, the return of Fest of Ale, two hockey games, Monster Trucks... and a roller rink!
We had a great turn out for the family portion of the evening! Lots of youth on skates with fearless determination!
We saw several new skaters at the adult skate. We saw a nice flow of guests arriving throughout the 7 - 9 timeframe.

April 30th, 2022 - Oliver
Our opening night in Oliver was a great success! Oliver Recreation welcomed us into the Oliver & District Arena for a 3 part roller rink!
Attendance for the event was strong, with many asking for additional nights. We were excited to share with them that thanks to Oliver Rec, we have a full schedule for the months of May - July. (See our Upcoming Events page for the schedule.)
The concession was run by the Oliver Ambassadors program, and they did a great job behind the counter, and when they all were able to give skating a try.
April 23rd, 2022 - Penticton
This was our first restriction free event! We were able to open to the entire public, on a first come first serve basis. We had all our rental stock up and ready, all of our lighting effects dialed in, and a new playlist containing a mix of the classics and some current hits.

March 26th, 2022 - Penticton
This roller rink night was our first evening with a full stock of 70+ rental skates! We were also able to remove the registration requirement, and were open to the public on a first come first serve basis.
Paul Davis Restoration hosted a 50/50 Draw and the proceeds went to the new Community Fridge and Pantry!

February 26th, 2022 - Penticton
Our second event was by registration only, and this evening was at capacity after only 24 hours of opening registrations! We had hoped to have a full stock of rental skates for this event, but due to circumstances beyond our control, our skates did not arrive in time.
The event was a great success regardless, and we received great feedback that we were able to implement at our next event.

January 22nd, 2022 - Penticton
January 22nd was our first roller rink night. Due to covid restrictions we operated with a registration system. We hosted a family portion, and a 19+ portion. All funds went to the South Okanagan Roller Derby Association!

Doors open at 6:00pm - 7:30 All Ages. 7:30pm - 9:30pm Adult.

This was a trial event hosted for the South Okanagan Roller Derby Association. We had 15 skaters come and enjoy an evening of roller skating fun!
